    This pure lambswool Nordic sweater features the iconic Selburose motif — an eight-petal rose pattern that has become a symbol of winter and Christmas. While this distinctive design dates back to ancient times, it became a knitwear hallmark when a young girl in the Norwegian town of Selbu knitted a pair of mittens featuring the decoration in the 1850s. It became a huge hit in the town, Norway, and eventually the entire world. A full-length invisible zipper runs down the front of this cozy cardigan style, allowing the motif to perfectly match up on both sides of the zipper.
